Private browsing (Incognito mode) makes you anonymous online.

Private browsing prevents your browser from storing your history locally, but your internet service provider, employer network, and the websites you visit can still see your activity.
Incognito mode was designed to keep browsing history off a shared or personal device — useful if you're shopping for a gift on a family computer. It was never built to hide who you are online.
